Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Krafted, we take pride in our craftsmanship. Because our furniture is built to last, it requires specialized handling to ensure it arrives at your home in perfect condition.

1. Production & Lead Times

Most of our pieces are [made to order / handcrafted in small batches].

Standard Lead Time: [e.g., 1–2 weeks] from date of payment.
Custom Orders: [e.g., 2–4 weeks] depending on the complexity of the design.
We will notify you via email as soon as your order leaves our workshop.

2. Delivery Areas & Rates

We currently ship throughout South Africa. Our rates are calculated based on the weight of the items and your location:

Note: For very large items or bulk orders, we may contact you with a custom freight quote if standard couriers cannot fulfill the request.

3. The Delivery Process

Since metal furniture can be heavy, please note the following:

Threshold Delivery: Our standard delivery is "to the door." Couriers are generally not insured to move furniture inside your home or up stairs.
Access Check: Please ensure the item you ordered can fit through your doors, hallways, and elevators.
Signature Required: An adult must be present to sign for the delivery.

4. Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect your furniture immediately upon arrival. If you notice any damage to the packaging or the piece itself:

Note the damage on the courier’s waybill before signing.
Take photos of the damage and the packaging.
Contact us at support@krafted.co.za within 24 hours so we can resolve the issue.

5. Collection Option

If you would prefer to skip the shipping fees, you are welcome to collect your order directly from our workshop in Bloemfontein.

Select "Local Pickup" at checkout.
We will send you a "Ready for Collection" email with our address and hours.

6. International Shipping

We currently do not ship outside of South Africa. For international inquiries, please contact us directly for a bespoke shipping quote.
